Assignments

One optional assignment:  The Johari Window.  I explained the Johari Window on the first day of class.  It looks like this:

So your goal is to decrease the size of your blind quadrant, those things that other people know about you but you don’t know about yourself.  The way to do this is to go to five people who know you well, ask each of them to list your three best qualities and three things they’d like to change about you.  Then write a 2-page paper (double-spaced, 12 point, Times New Roman) doing the following:

  1. Tell me who you talked to.
  2. Summarize the qualities that came up.
  3. Tell me how you feel about what you heard.
